Dubai Aerospace Enterprise gets $300 million loan from Bank of China to grow its aircraft fleet
Dubai Aerospace Enterprise (DAE) has made a deal with the Bank of China (BOC) to borrow $300 million for three years. The money will be used to grow its business and add more aircraft to its fleet.
Loan Deal
Dubai-based aircraft leasing company DAE has taken an unsecured loan to help with general business needs. This includes future aircraft purchases and other business plans as the company continues to grow.
The loan will come from Bank of China branches in Dubai, London, and Hong Kong.
DAE CEO Firoz Tarapore said the loan gives the company extra cash to support its airline customers and keep its fleet modern and efficient.
Pan Xinyuan, head of the Bank of China’s Dubai Branch, said the deal shows the bank’s support for important aviation companies and helps strengthen economic ties between China and the UAE. He also said the deal shows how the bank can offer flexible solutions to meet the changing needs of its clients.
DAE owns and manages over 500 aircraft and works with more than 200 airlines in over 85 countries. It has offices in Dubai, Dublin, Limerick, Amman, Singapore, Miami, New York, and Seattle.
