MarJanae Truesdale Interview
MarJanae Truesdale stands as a guiding light for those seeking authentic connection and inner healing. As a Holistic Love and Pleasure Coach, her work blends self-awareness, spirituality, and emotional intelligence to help individuals and couples rediscover love from the inside out.
We started the interview by asking, “How has your personal journey shaped the work you do today as a Holistic Love and Pleasure Coach?”
MarJanae Truesdale replied, “My personal journey is the foundation of everything I share with my clients. I’ve experienced seasons of self-doubt, disconnection, and searching for validation outside of myself. Those challenges became powerful teachers, showing me that true healing begins within. As I leaned into spirituality, embodiment practices, and self-love, I discovered a deeper sense of joy and authenticity. That transformation made me passionate about helping others do the same. I know what it feels like to struggle, but I also know the freedom that comes from reclaiming your power. My work is a reflection of the path I’ve walked an invitation for others to embrace their own wholeness, heal from within, and create relationships rooted in truth, love, and joy. Coaching isn’t just my profession; it’s my calling born from lived experience.”
Question: What role does self-awareness play in cultivating fulfilling relationships?
MarJanae Truesdale replied, “Self-awareness is the cornerstone of every healthy relationship. Without it, we often project unhealed wounds, unmet needs, or unconscious patterns onto others. When individuals take the time to truly understand themselves their triggers, desires, strengths, and fears they begin showing up in relationships with clarity and authenticity. This creates space for honest communication and deeper intimacy. I often remind my clients that the relationship with self-sets the tone for every other connection in life. When we cultivate self-awareness, we no longer seek to be “completed” by someone else; instead, we enter relationships as whole beings ready to co-create love. It shifts dynamics from dependency and conflict into partnership and growth. Self-awareness is not a one-time practice, but a continuous journey that allows love to thrive.”
Question: How do you integrate spiritual intuition into your coaching sessions?
MarJanae Truesdale replied, “My spiritual intuition is a guiding force in every session. While I use practical tools and coaching frameworks, I also tune into the energetic and emotional layers of what my clients are experiencing. Sometimes, unspoken truths reveal themselves intuitively, and bringing them to light creates powerful breakthroughs. This doesn’t replace a client’s agency it simply opens doors to deeper awareness. I often incorporate meditation, breathwork, or energy practices that help clients reconnect with their inner wisdom. Spiritual intuition allows me to hold space in a way that’s compassionate yet transformative. Clients often tell me they feel seen not just for who they are, but for who they’re becoming. To me, intuition is about listening beyond words honoring the heart, body, and soul together. It helps my coaching go beyond surface solutions into true, lasting transformation.”
Question: What is the biggest misconception people have about love and intimacy?
MarJanae Truesdale replied, “One of the biggest misconceptions is that love and intimacy should be effortless or that they’re only about romance and physical attraction. In reality, deep intimacy requires intentionality, vulnerability, and continuous nurturing. Many people also think intimacy is purely physical, but it actually encompasses emotional openness, spiritual alignment, and even the joy of shared experiences. Love isn’t something that just happens it’s something we actively cultivate by showing up fully and consciously. Another misconception is that love will fix all of our wounds, when in truth, love reflects what’s already within us. If we don’t feel worthy or whole inside, it’s difficult to fully receive intimacy from another. I help clients break through these myths so they can build connections rooted in truth, compassion, and joy, rather than unrealistic expectations or fleeting attraction.”
Question: Can you share a breakthrough moment you’ve witnessed in your coaching practice?
MarJanae Truesdale replied, “There are so many, but one that stands out is a couple who came to me feeling completely disconnected after years together. They were on the verge of separating, believing the spark was gone. Through our work, we uncovered unspoken fears and patterns that had created distance. Once they learned to communicate vulnerably and reintroduce pleasure as a shared practice, everything shifted. They not only reconnected but began experiencing each other with a fresh sense of curiosity and joy. What touched me most was seeing them laugh together again it reminded me that love is not about perfection but about presence. Witnessing that transformation reaffirmed my belief that when people are willing to do the inner work, healing and renewal are always possible. Breakthrough moments like this are why I do what I do.”
Question: How do you help clients sustain the changes they make after working with you?
MarJanae Truesdale replied, “Sustainability is key, because transformation is not about temporary breakthroughs but lasting integration. I provide clients with practical tools they can continue using whether it’s daily self-love practices, communication techniques, or rituals that help them stay connected to their bodies and spirit. I also emphasize the importance of consistency over perfection. Small, mindful actions done regularly create long-term shifts. Many of my clients also join group programs or follow-up sessions to stay accountable and supported. Most importantly, I encourage them to trust their own inner guidance, so they don’t feel dependent on me but empowered to navigate challenges on their own. True success is when a client no longer needs me because they’ve embodied the practices and mindset that keep them aligned with love, joy, and balance.”
Lastly we asked, “What message would you share with someone feeling unworthy of love right now?”
“My message is this: you are inherently worthy of love simply because you exist. Love is not something you have to earn or prove yourself worthy of it is your birthright. Often, feelings of unworthiness stem from old wounds, societal conditioning, or past experiences, but none of those define your essence. I would remind you that healing is possible, and it begins with small acts of self-love. Start by being gentle with yourself, by listening to your needs, and by affirming your value every day. Worthiness is not about perfection it’s about embracing your humanity and honoring your spirit. When you believe you are enough, you naturally attract relationships and experiences that reflect that truth. My work is to walk beside people as they rediscover this inner worth and step into the love they’ve always deserved.” MarJanae Truesdale concluded
